(Yoosuf) 12 : 20
وَشَرَوْهُ بِثَمَنٍ بَخْسٍ دَرَاهِمَ مَعْدُودَةٍ وَكَانُوا فِيهِ مِنَ الزَّاهِدِينَ
And they sold him for a petty price -a few bucks- and they could have received more for him.
The travelers found Yoosuf in a pit. Instead of inquiring much about him, they took him as merchandise and sold him in Egypt for a petty price. Today Arabic Quran reading Fujjar are rejecting verse 3: 187 by purchasing a petty price for Lord's verses. See explanation 2: 174 and 6: 25-26.
